Sitting next to a mom and toddler in the airport, wondering if God ever thinks any of these thoughts about me…

 

“Can you ask Me without whining?”

 

 

“I’m working on it. Please be patient.”

 

 

“This one is not yours. You ruined the one I gave you, remember?”

 

 

“Say ‘thank you,’ please.”

 

 

“You’re welcome.”

 

 

“Don’t be grabby. I’ll give it back to you in a minute, and it will work better.”

 

 

“No, you can’t right now. I know you wish you could, but you just need to trust Me.”

 

 

“Turn it down please.”

 

 

“A simple ‘no’ will suffice.”

 

 

“Soon.”

 

 

“You need to stay with Me.”

 

 

“You need to carry that yourself.”

 

 

“You don’t need anything else.”
