I’ve been working on a little project of late.  It’s a collection, that I started years ago, of what I call “Reasons to Praise”.  I mentioned it a couple years ago, but I have some new readers, so I thought I’d give this little bit of background info…

Anyhow, I call it “Reasons to Praise” and it’s a collection of 205, sort of, characteristics about God.    I’m working my way up to 365 ~ one for every day. 

So the past few days I’ve been adding to it, and researching additional Bible verses to support each one, and because this is where my head has been, I wanted to share some of them with you…

There is none before Him

“This is what the Lord says – Israel’s King and Redeemer, the Lord Almighty: I am the first and I am the last; apart from me, there is no God.”

Isaiah 44:6

His works are wonderful

“Who is like You – majestic in holiness, awesome in glory, working wonders?”

He is immortal

He is jealous

“The Lord is a jealous and avenging God.”

He is kind

“I will tell of the kindnesses of the Lord… yes, the many good things He has done for the house of Israel, according to His compassion and many kindnesses.”
