“the same yesterday, today, and forever”

Hebrews 13:8

Here’s the thing.  And this is important. 

 

God hasn’t changed. 

 

The world is a different place today than it was yesterday.  Or last week.  Or ten years ago.

 

But God is not. 

 

Today you’re suffering.  The IRS sent that letter, your computer died, you’ve got kidney stones, you’re not getting the loan you were hoping for…

 

God is Lord.  Mighty, sovereign, loving.  Just as He was, just as He always will be. 

 

Powerful, compassionate… Creator, Redeemer, Father, Savior. 

 

He is on the throne. 

 

And you are in the palm of His hand.
