Oh, and a Pisces, too.

“answering all the questions”

2 Chronicles 9:2

~

There’s a strange new phenomenon on the internet of late. The taking of personality quizzes. They’re everywhere, have you noticed? My kids find them on a few of their favorite sites, and share their conclusions with me, and then of course I want to know more about myself, too, so I give it a shot. Sometimes it’s their idea, though. They’ve discovered which character they are like from a favorite book or movie, and they want to compare, so they start asking me questions. It’s almost always good for a giggle, and we joke about whether we think the quiz is right or wrong about us.

So here’s what you need to know about me…

My husband and I are Carl and Ellie Fredericks from Up.

Of the Avengers, I am the Hulk.

I am an INTJ on the Myers-Briggs Indicator

My BFF and I are Leslie and Ann from Parks & Recreation.

My southern name would be Savannah Summer.

My perfect book, based on my Myers-Briggs indicator, is Pride & Prejudice (which I haven’t read since high school).

My perfect book, based on my food choices, is a Jane Austen novel. (Apparently I really need to pick up Pride & Prejudice again…)

The time period I belong is in Revolutionary America.

The flower I am most like is lavender.

Among the wonders of the world, I am the Amazon Rainforest.

The animal I’m most like is a dolphin.

Among First Ladies, I am Eleanor Roosevelt.

I’m sure I’ve got friends and family who will agree with some of those, based on what they know about me. But whether or not any of it’s true, I’m a lot more than that. And yet somehow, when you boil it all down to what matters, I’m a lot less, too.

What matters is, I’m a child of God, forgiven and thankful.

prayer

Who are you?
